It was a winter break and I was with Martin, my friend.
We were sitting on a park bench inside the Botanical garden of the museum grounds at Thiruvanananthapuram.
The building with the tiled roof behind the trees is the 'Shabala' cafateria.
Behind that there is a police aid post.
Once i was forced to sit on the floor of that aid post with my friends.
I will never forget the ever rotten four letter words showered upon us on that day by the policemen .
തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ മ്യൂസിയത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ എന്തുമാത്രം മരങ്ങളാണുള്ളത്‌.
എല്ലാത്തിന്റെയും തടിപ്പുറത്ത്‌ പേരും മേല്‍വിലാസവും എഴുതിവച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്‌.
മ്യൂസിയത്തിന്റെ കിഴക്കുഭാഗത്തുള്ള ശബള കഫറ്റീരിയയാണ്‌ ചിത്രത്തില്‍.
അതിനു പിന്നില്‍ ഞാന്‍ മറക്കാനാഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ഒരിടമുണ്ട്‌.
ഒരു പോലീസ്‌ എയിഡ്‌ പോസ്റ്റ്‌!
ഒരിക്കല്‍ ഒരുകൂട്ടം പോലിസുകാര്‍ എന്നെയും കൂട്ടുകാരെയും ഏതാണ്ട്‌ രണ്ടുമണിക്കൂറോളം അവിടെ നിലത്തിരുത്തി വധിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
പാര്‍ക്കിലെ കമ്പിവേലിയുടെ മുകളിലൂടെ ചില ജിംനാസ്റ്റിക്‌ അഭ്യാസങ്ങള്‍ കാട്ടിയതിനായിരുന്നു ശിക്ഷ.
