മഴയത്ത് . in a heavy shower

Rain was playing its power play.

Sky was dark and thick.

Forgot to take my umbrella.

There were caps for sale in the shop.

Took one, wore and dash to the nearest shelter.

Children were in heaven!

They were rushing to their nearest rides.

It is Happy land - a water theme park in
the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram,

and it became a real water park today!

Water water every where!
My shelter was luckily a canteen!
Took a seat, ordered a cup of black tea
and emptied out my water colour kit…

മഴ ഉടനേയൊന്നും മാറുന്ന ലക്ഷണമില്ല.

എന്തായാലും നനയാന്‍ വയ്യ.

മൂന്നു ഘട്ടങ്ങളായി ഓടി കാന്റീനിലെത്തി.

നമ്മുടെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥലം.

പക്ഷേ, ഇത്തവണ പണി വേറേയായിരുന്നു.

രാജേന്ദ്രന്‍ ഫോണിലൂടെ പറഞ്ഞു. “വരച്ചോ..

പിള്ളാരേ ഞങ്ങളു നോക്കിക്കോളാം.”

My friends in Thiruvananthapuram are well known for their adventure trips.

Travel is their passion. And I like their company.

It was raining and I was still sitting on a rock on the seashore to complete this.

മഴക്കാലമായിരുന്നു.

മണ്‍സൂണ്‍ ടൂറിസമൊക്കെയുള്ള നാടല്ലേ.

കടല്‍ത്തീരത്തേക്കുതന്നെ ബൈക്കുകള്‍ വിട്ടു.

വരച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോഴേക്കും .. അതാ മഴ.
